Planning an event at home??

Have you considered:
Bins scattered throughout your home/ backyard for food scraps, skewers, napkins and disposable plates, etc.
Ashtrays outside for smokers.
Tea towels, cloths and cleaning supplies.
Ample platters and cocktail napkins if serving canapés?
A present table if required.
Plan B for the rain (it is Melbourne after all…)
A rough timing of events, to ensure nothing is forgotten. ie. serving Birthday cake or specific toasts.
A capable oven or cooking equipment, and enough oven trays if heating food.
Options for tea and coffee.
ICE!!!!
Enough seating, inside and out.
Vegetarian, Gluten Free, and Kosher food options.
Enough glasswear (beer, wine, champagne, soft drinks, water)
Soft drinks available for children (plastic cups) and non-drinkers.
Taxis pre booked if necessary (Saturday at 1am is difficult!)
